[humanser] Introducing myself

Hi Jonathan,

My name is Jessica, and like you, I'll also be graduating in December
of this year with my BSW. I'll then need to go on to get my
master's, but I'm planning on specializing in vocational
rehabilitation counseling. The university I attend in Tennessee
doesn't have a degree in voc rehab counseling, so I chose to major in
social work instead, as I thought it would give me a good foundation
in learning how to work with people, which it has. I've enjoyed my
classes a lot, though I'm also looking forward to graduating. I'm
hoping to get accepted to Michigan State for my master's, as it's
ranked number two in the country by U.S. News and World Report for
its voc rehab program, though I'm also looking at a few other
places. I'm not sure whether I'll go next spring or next fall, but
next year most likely some time is when I'll go. I'll have to see
about researching scholarships somehow, because I know rehab won't
pay for out of state tuition, but hopefully Google can help me
there! I'm wanting to specialize in working with other visually
impaired people, so we'll see how things go. It's nice hearing from
you, and feel free to ask any questions that come to mind. There are
lots of people on here who should be able to help, though I'm not
sure how much help I'll be myself.

Jessica
