Dear all,

Some of you may have missed David Andrews message under the "Quickly
finding Information in the DSM-5" thread. Keep in mind that copyright
infringement is a very serious crime and, as such is also unethical.
Conviction of a crime - especially one connected to one's license - can
result in permanent revocation of your license to practice your profession.
Purchasing the DSM may be a bit pricey, but it is well worth it in the end
and is a business expense on Schedule C of the IRS tax forms.

I know of a teenager who made a mixed CD and shared it with his
friends. He is now facing felony charges for doing so. It may be tempting to
share copyrighted information and you may think you will never get caught,
but this list is publicly archived and it is not worth losing your right to
practice over a $150 resource that is essential to your profession and you
will use almost daily for the next 10 years or so. Do the right thing: Buy
it; don't steal it!

Fraternally yours,
Marion Gwizdala
