[humanser] I am a counselor in a nonprofit agency and have been using Clinicians Desk Top (CDT) for seven months. This software is totally inaccessible, except that a state tech consultant created a menu so that I can click on items, such as the asses

I agree with the content of your message, Ginny. The NFB and the Human
Services division are definitely working on these issues.

The inaccessibility of charting software seems to me to be one of the
biggest impediments to us doing our work. Organisations buy into these
programs and spend huge amounts of money to do so and don't probably even
ask about accessiblity (becuse it is not on their radar screen.). The
software developers don't have it on their radar screen either despite the
Americans with Disabilities Act. So infuriating.

Michael - You are using Therapy Notes. Is this for a private practice
set-up?
