[humanser] I am a counselor in a nonprofit agency and have been using Clinicians Desk Top (CDT) for seven months. This software is totally inaccessible, except that a state tech consultant created a menu so that I can click on items, such as the asses

Listers,

How can we make this situation better? For the software I use, the
company only would recommend a "third-party software," which is JAWS, to
solve the problem. They refuse to look at this issue, and seem to have
the idea that their problems for us are quick fixes rather than
systemmic issues. So, what can we do to make a difference when the
company refuses to look at the problem? What can we do, 16 years after
the Tech 2000 push to have technology be made accessible for everyone?
What action, if any, has the NFB taken with such access issues in the
past?Do we sue them? Shame them? Made demands? I'm puzzled.
