I can tell you're using dictate so don't worry. I worked up until late years ago and after I got my seizures taken care of I couldn't find another job. I think seizures are more dangerous than being blind in a work situation when it comes to finding employment.The last couple years or so I've been seizure free and feel that I could never disclose; but before they were so sporadic that I didn't want to put anyone into a pickle. After all, I was treated differently after I had a seizure at the nursing home I was working at years ago. I was hired with cane in my hand but after I had that seizure, staff looked at me differently and didn't want me to be there as often. I couldn't prove it so I just worked through it. DVR wasn't much help trying to get my hours back. I was just so thankful I had a job that like you, I didn't want to "rock the boat" Lisa. I'm so grateful that the NFB is starting to find ways to help people with dual diagnosis. They're starting with the kids for the next generation, but I'm really happy there doing this. There's a lot of us out there that are dying to work.
