Two suggestions-
One, if the boss tells a joke, laughter is required regardless.
Second, Be sure your laughter is in response to something someone else feels
is funny also.
There is also a mental disorder associated with a person who constantly
laughs to themselves.
It is known as hebephrenia.
Best of luck with your job.

Subject: [humanser] Office Behavior
Dear Members,
I hope everyone is doing well. In seven days I will be starting
my second internship. I will be doing the closed captioning work
for the television station that is operated at UCHF where I am
currently taking classes. I have a few questions for all of you.
What is acceptable behavior in the office environment? Is it
appropriate to laugh at work? Can I bring my IPad and other
technology to the office? I will be limiting the use of my cell
phone during working hours. Hope to hear from you soon.
