[humanser] Accessible career interest inventory

Hello,
I use the O*Net with my clients as a beginning. The website is
accessible and offers a wide variety of careers that the client can research
on their own to determine their interest. The test is relatively easy and is
scored immediately. It is based on Holland's research. The test is free, but
you could have the client do the test in session which is billable.
The website is connected to the US Dept of Labor and offers career
projections and salary information. It also breaks down the experience and
education required for the job.

Warmly,

Rev. Michael “Big Dog” Abell

Subject: [humanser] Accessible career interest inventory

Hello, listers,

I wonder if any of you know of a career interest inventory that is
accessible for people who are blind, both to take the inventory and to score
it. I am aware of many of the most frequently used inventories, but in the
literature I have read most of the inventories are reported to be
inaccessible.

I also am awaiting a response from Perkins Institute which, no doubt,
administers career interest inventories to its students.

Thanks.
