Hi, listers,


Thank you so much for giving me a forum where I belong! My computer 
knowledge and my experience with formal procedures seems scant compared 
to the amount of navigation, workaround and fix-it strategies that I 
need to perform my job. I am so happy for all the suggestions and 
encouragement you have given me. At last, I have a place where I can go 
for my many questions.


Also, I wonder if counselors, who are supposed to understand people with 
disabilities and other issues, don't know what to do with us as 
therapists and rehab counselors who are blind. Are they unnerved by us? 
Do they feel uncomfortable around us? And what do we do about reasonable 
accommodations if those accommodations take a year to complete? If I 
were my employer, I wouldn't know what to do with me and my daily 
issues, either.
