Hi,

I use Zoom for individual and group sessions.

One price is the yearly amount, the other the monthly plan. I believe that all paid accounts are HIPPA compliant.

I am a bit confused about sharing the audio, you have the option in Zoom to mute everyone but yourself for a part of the meeting and opening up everyone's audio for the
 Rest of the session.

In a group practice, as I understand it, one account can serve the entire practice so long as you do not schedule on top of each other.

Good luck with your internship,

Hi,
I’m reaching out with a quick zoom pricing question. Would you happen to know the total cost of zoom professional with the business associate agreement? I’m a bit confused, as I see online where some say that zoom is $200 a month, and I also see that the add-on to make it Hyppa compliant is $14.99 a month. As my internship is with a small private practice, we are trying to be cost-effective while meeting the needs of our group sessions. The biggest issue we are facing is the need for sharing the audio within YouTube videos during our group sessions. We considered having participants view the videos individually, but that would defeat the purpose of such shared activities as guided meditation and the like. Any assistance with this or recommendations for other accessible platforms would be very much appreciated.
Thank you for your time and assistance, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best, Miranda

Zoom (which only requires Pro now to get a BAA) is my preferred platform and easily handles group and allows a wide range of screen sharing options including PowerPoint (which I have done for continuing Ed trainings) and a shared whiteboard anyone can write on.

For those of you who use Simple Practice, are you able to use this platform when conducting online therapy groups? Also, does it allow you to accessibly use and display a PowerPoint for your clients during group sessions? if the answer is “no” to either of these questions, what Hyppa-compliant platform are you using for online therapy groups?
