Hi All,

Please know that the Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Act, was reintroduced
on Wednesday. Our new bill number is HR 734. At this time Illinois has two
members listed as cosponsors; they are Congressman Hare and Congresswoman
Shakowsky. Thank you all very much for your work on this. Jesse

Good Afternoon Patti,

Please see the list below of staff members handling the quiet cars
issue in the offices that cosponsored last year. We are working hard to
get last years cosponsors on this years bill as original cosponsors
before the bill is introduced, and this week these offices have received
two Dear Colleague letters from Congressman Towns's office, and one note
from me asking them to add on the bill. If you could contact them next
Wednesday and urge them to cosponsor this bill, I would appreciate it
greatly. It will be helpful to let them know that the bill will have
the same language as the bill they signed on to last year. Emily Khoury
is handling this issue for Congressman Towns, and James Thomas is the
contact in Congressman Stearns office. Your republican members might
want to go through Stearns's office. Thank you very much for your help
on this. Jesse

Congresswoman Biggert, Cade Clurman
Congressman Davis, Yul Edwards
Congressman Jackson, Megan Moore,
Congressman Roskam, David Mork
Congresswoman Schakowsky, Isaac Brown,
