On behalf of the National Federation of the Blind of Illinois Chicago
Chapter, I wish to thank everyone who participated in our Beggars Pizza
fundraiser.  Those who were there yesterday had the pleasure of much
spirited conversation and pizza that was second to none.  I also wish to
thank the members of the Illinois Association of Blind Merchants who were
unable to come to beggars, but, who gave of their personal treasure to
assist the Chicago Chapter in fundraising efforts.

 

I should also point out that several members of the Illinois Council of the
Blind assisted us by coming to beggars, enjoying the food and fun and
through their participation, helped us to raise much needed funds.

 

Finally, I wish to thank those of you who passed out flyers and brought
guests from outside the blind community to assist us in this event.
