Hello Everyone,

 

Those of you who are in the Chicago Chapter and on the board have known this
for quite some time. For those of you who have not known it, Teresa has
ovarian cancer. She was originally diagnosed in August of last year. We have
had some trying times with this but for the most part, treatment has gone
well. She is scheduled for surgery tomorrow at 12:30 P.M. They will do a
complete hysterectomy and remove any cancerous tissue that they can. It is
anticipated that she will be in chemotherapy for several more cycles
following surgery.

 

I am asking that you take time to think of Teresa tomorrow as she
anticipates and perhaps has surgery. She does have a cold, though she is
over the worst of it. We were told that it will be upto the
annestheseologist to determine whether or not she will have surgery. My
feeling is that she will as her ccold is not bothering her too much.
