Hello Everyone,

 

Please remember our chapter meeting which will take place on Saturday, March
7 at Exchequer Restaurant and Pub, 226 South Wabash in Chicago As is
generally the case, our meeting will begin at 1:00 P.M. We are meeting this
Saturday, March 7, as Exchequer needs the space to accommodate customers on
March 14 due to the St. Patricks Day Parade.

 

Finally, following the meeting, we will hold our annual Games Night. The
cost for this event is $25. So, bring a game and find a partner to play
along with you. Besides games and socialization, you will have a chance to
enjoy soda, sallad and some of the best pizza Chicago has to offer.

If you are relatively new to the National federation of the Blind of
Illinois, you should find this meeting to be one of particular interest. Our
program item will be an interview conducted by Ken Borst of our state
President, Denise Avant. In this interview she will talk about the various
programs and services offfered through the National Federation of the Blind
of Illinois. You will also hear about the Washington Seminar which took
place in February.
