Please remember: Anyone can also call our call center – 312-746-4835, or sign up online at Chicago.gov/covidvax, and book their own appointment, even if they were not originally vaccinated through our programs!

Hello Commissioner Arfa!

I’m writing with exciting news to share that starting on Monday, we are making COVID-19 boosters available through the Protect Chicago At Home program. This means individuals who have received their first and second doses of Pfizer or one dose of J&J will be eligible to schedule their booster through our At Home program. Please note that boosters are NOT eligible for vaccine incentives.

Would you be able to share these materials with the disability advocates organizations? Our call center is going back through and reaching out to anyone who we vaccinated through the Homebound program or the early Protect Chicago At Home program with the Fire Department and asking if they’re interested in boosters, so many individuals who participated in these programs should be getting a phone call soon! Anyone can also call our call center – 312-746-4835, or sign up online at Chicago.gov/covidvax, and book their own appointment, even if they were not originally vaccinated through our programs!

We’d love to get the word out about these programs and do as many boosters as we can!

Thanks, and please let us know if anyone has questions.

Tina Anderson
