Seminars at Hadley Presents: Shopping Without Dropping
Date: Friday, January 7, 2011
Time: 11AM CST, 17:00 GMT
Want to hit the end-of-season sales but the barriers you encounter as a blind
or low vision person make shopping a frustrating activity? Would you like to
make your shopping experience more enjoyable and productive? As an education or
rehabilitation professional, would you like to make shopping easier and more
enjoyable for your clients?
Join Seminars at Hadley as Betty Huffman and Roni Sue Thompson, Shopping Masters
(thats one stage beyond Shop-aholics), talk about how to improve the shopping
experience. Theyll share tips and techniques to benefit blind shoppers as well
as professionals who teach the principles of independent living.
This 60 minute seminar will be moderated by Billy Brookshire, Hadley Outreach
Coordinator. A question and answer session will be included.
As always, listening to the seminar remains free of charge. There is a US $25
fee associated with completing the seminar for credit (1 CE hour).
Professionals interested in receiving continuing education credit will be
required to successfully complete a quiz and brief survey before a certificate
is issued. (ACVREP approval pending)
