Carmen enriched all of uss with her kindness, her warmth, her inexhaustible 
willingness to extend herself to others.  She touched countless lives 
through her years of dedication to the NFB and improving the possibilities 
for blind people.  We will never know how many people today are walking with 
confidence, cooking gourmet meals, reading Braille, and living more joyfully 
because at some point in their journey she believed in them and reached out 
to them.  Their lives are her legacy.
