Patti,

I just learned that one egg a day prevents macular degeneration and
stops the progression of the visual loss, according to a
peer-reviewed study of peple in a nursing home who were fed eggs and
those who didn't eat them. For eggs with really big and I am told
colorful yokes, which is where the macular degeneration fighting
nutrients are found, obtain eggs from chickens living on pasture who
forage the grasses and pasturelands. these can be found at farmer's
markets or CSA programs.
