Audio books were a technology breakthrough in education as
early as the 1950s. Now, in the 21st century, electronic text is becoming
widely available and useful to classroom instruction. E-texts have the
potential of being used in a variety of ways and can be adapted to all
students in addition to meeting the needs of special populations. In this
two-part webinar, we will discuss practical teacher-based applications using
online books to meet student needs.
a.. Where do you find digital content to support
students?
b.. What do we mean by digital files?
c.. How to access digital content for students?
d.. How to search and find core content materials?
e.. How to get what you need and escape the copyright
maze?
f.. How to keep everything straight when working with
multiple students?
g.. Is it possible to keep downloaded files organized?
h.. Are there benefits and examples of posting material
on a school server?
Resource list will be made available.
There will be a brief discussion period at the end of the
presentation
