Subject: BSA NEEDS YOU! APRIL 8TH & 9TH FOR TAG DAYS!

Dear Friends of BSA,

On April 8th &9th, Blind Service Association is participating in the

Children's Benefit League Tag Days, and need volunteers to assist with our

fundraising efforts! If you have two or more hours available to donate to BSA

anytime between 6am and 6pm on the 8th or 9th, we can really use your

help!

The Children's Benefit League is a group of non-profit organizations that

come together every spring to raise money for their children's programs.

For Blind Service Association this means raising money to help fund our six

week summer youth program, Pathways. Pathways is a unique program that

provides daily living skill building, cultural & educational adventures, and

social experiences to blind and visually impaired youth. This program is

offered at no cost (except an application fee) to the children's families,

so fundraising events like the Children's Benefit League Tag Days are

essential to help with the cost of transportation, professional staff, and

providing all of the exciting opportunities that Pathways offers.

Our volunteers for Tag Days help us collect money in designated areas of

Chicago and suburbs and are provided with all of the supplies, information,

and permits needed to tag in these locations. We have several locations

that we will be "tagging" (collecting donations and passing out a Children's

Benefit League "tag" with our logo on it) and you can ?tag? at whatever

location is most convenient for you. We have assigned areas downtown

Chicago and at designated Jewel-Oscos in Skokie, Niles, Oak Park, Oak Lawn, and

Chicago. (If you live in or near Lake Forest, you can tag at the Walgreens

at E. Deerpath) Once you sign up, we can arrange location and times. We

also encourage volunteers to get other family and friends involved?

remember--the more the merrier and the more money that we will raise.

A volunteer registration form is attached to this email--Please fill out

the form and send it back to BSA, or call Karine or Sally at 312-236-0808

and ask to sign up for the Tag Days event.

Thank you!

Karine Rosvold, Program Manager
