Patti, I have forwarded this message to Bill Jurek as well as Becky Barnes
and John Dettloff at Guiding Eyes. Mary Jane is working toward retirement
and though I will not rule us out as participating, I cannot put her forth
as a primary girl on this or us as a primary team. It is a great opportunity
and I'll keep on top of it.
Thanks.
Sharon

>> Hello Ms. Chang,

>>
>> I am just following up on my voicemail of yesterday to give you a
>> heads-up on my reason for contacting you. Daniel Goldstein recommended
>> that I talk with you about a plan we have. We are interested in
>> highlighting service animals at the AG’s booth at the State Fair in
>> Springfield which takes place in August. I thought it might be
>> interesting to have service animal trainers/users come and do a
>> demonstration of the kinds of tasks and skills that service animals are
>> trained to perform. I think it would give the general public a better
>> understanding of the range of service dogs and raise awareness generally
>> about people with disabilities in a manner likely to attract folks
>> (everyone loves dogs). We are seeing quite a few service animal issues
>> and we are also hopeful that this might make a positive impact on that.
>> That said, I have no idea if anyone does this kind of demonstration. Do
>> you have any ideas? The kicker on all of this is that we need to get
>> this organized by next week (at least the who and the what). Any help
>> that you can provide would be appreciated.

>>
>> Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
