Anil Lewis is leading this at our national office. I have heard these numbers and many are included in an exhaustive report which will come out from National Council on Disabilities on 8/20/12 but I do not wish to mistate statistics. Please give Anil a call and look for the report when it is out.
P.S. NFBI is on twitter as "NFBI" and on Facebook as "national Federation of the Blind of Illinois."

Please donate to our annual appeal by sending your tax deductible donation to our treasurer: Glenn Moore Treasurer PO Box 1065 Elgin, IL 60121. Thank you.

Chair, NFB Scholarship Committee
President, NFBI

I intend to take part, and to have a better understanding, I wish to know some facts.
Do we have a figure on how many blind people are affected by this immoral and discriminatory practice?
What are the other disabilities do they have besides blindness?
And how productive are these individuals?
Awaiting a satisfactory response.
Sincerely
Syed
