4:00pm-5:00pm New Cancer Research Perspectives: There are specific nutrients holding great promise for prevention of cancer, and have been shown to improve ocular health.
 
Wednesday, August 14  WALKING CLUB
*10:00am-10:45am* rain or shine (indoor track/outdoor paths) this is a new permanent time except for next week at the Chicago Botanic Gardens. You’ve had a cup of coffee and breakfast; time to have new members join us! Glenview Park Center, 2400 Chestnut Ave., Glenview, IL
 
Friday, August 16   ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO
9:15am (departure) - 3:00pm (return) RSVP now for limited seats on the van, or provide your own transportation. A special tour for those with low vision or blindness and then a hands-on Studio Art experience. Bring a sack lunch.

“Bellevue,” a psychological thriller at Steppenwolf Theater Company
1650 N. Halsted Street, Chicago, IL
1:30pm “Touch Tour”; 3:00pm Curtain
Audio-Descriptive date for those who have low vision or blindness
 
Wednesday, August 21  CHICAGO BOTANIC GARDENS
9:20am(departure)-1:50pm (return) RSVP fast for a seat on the van
10:00am-12:00pm  special hands-on program
12:00pm-12:45pm  Sack lunch together (or purchase from the café)
12:45pm-1:30pm: WALKING CLUB at the Botanic Gardens
1:30pm-1:50pm: Return to Chicago Lighthouse North
If providing your own transportation, feel free to stay as long as you wish. A nominal fee of $15 is required for the program participants (those who have low vision or blindness); parking is free with a letter that I will send you.
