> Many of you have heard, but we’d like everyone to know that a former co-worker and great friend of The Chicago Lighthouse Maureen Comiskey passed away on Monday, August 29th.  She had been struggling with liver problems on and off for several years and finally could not bounce back.  Maureen was blind and had a great positive outlook.  She took classes and then worked at The Lighthouse for three years as an Assistant in Seniors teaching computer skills.  She moved to Phoenix and worked for Arizona Industries for the Blind and most recently Sun Sounds of Arizona Studios. Maureen is survived by her two sons Brent and Matthew.
