Hi all, 

This year has been a year of transitions for us.  

Francisco's dad passed away in April.  He is much missed.  We all travelled to Belize in April for the services.  We are grateful that Julia and Francisco had travelled to Belize in March so Francisco spent time with his family before their loss.  Francisco continues to work in the EP lab at Swedish Covenant hospital.  No calls is good, but the hours lately have been out of control.  He may be revisiting the job hunt if that continues.

Patti is supervising more categories of cases at the City of Chicago's Dept. of Administrative Hearings.  She continues to serve as affiliate president and as national scholarship committee chair and on the Board of the National Federation of the Blind.  In fact October and November put her sometimes alone and sometimes with Francisco in Indiana, Nevada, Kentucky and Maryland.  We are using the frequent flier miles for a trip to Puerto Vallarta in January.

Johnathon graduated college with his degree in History.  He has been putting in very long hours at work and just received his first Christmas bonus.  Paula, his girlfriend, is applying to grad school so he plans to move somewhere next Summer.  We are not sure where just yet. 

Julia started college and is on the U of I bowling team.  She just bowled her first 213 game.  She also participates in engineers without borders and concrete canoes.  She is loving college except for economics which is giving her a run for her money.
