hi folks, when i met connie 20 years ago both of us taught high school. it was a small world. connie new delasalle since many of her teachers and administrators were from delasalle. she even taught some of my students
who had transferred to her school. both of us had troubles with our schools because we were
disabled. they finally fired her for some hokey reason and i was also force out. she went to the Lighthouse for rehap and started working for them. i was enough to receive disability and had a good pension. she and i became board members and worked together. when she got a job to do she was very dynamic until it was finished.
when some men started to go odown a path that most of the chapter did not like
connie, some friends of ours and me made sure the elections were won by these people.
most of these men left ourl chapter. we did the same for the state board. and the affilite was in good hands
once aagain. connie worked very hard to keep our balanace. we have never looked back.
i will miss connie very much. the loss of kelly and connie is almost too
much to handle. i hope connie did not suffered and pray for her and her family.
and hope future new members can fill there large shoes. i hope that our affiliate and chapter has the
strength and wisdom to stop the old guard from returning.
sleep in peace girls, sleep in peace.
