[il-talk] Grabbing Cane Tops On The Bus

the odd thing is that I don't think any sighted person could mistake a cane for a pole, they're different colors and sizes, I think people are grabbing them because they assume it will spontaneously swing and hit them. knowing that, I personally would make an issue out of that. because either my cane was in someone's face and I want to be aware of that, or the person needs to know that they have no business preemptively invading my bubble and grabbing my property.

I agree Rob, I laugh it off and don't
take it personal it is just people
holding on to something so they don't fall on the bus, what
 is wrong with
 that.

I let them shake the cane around for a little bit and when
 they realize that
it is not a grab a pole they apologize and proceed to their
 seat I think its
hilarious when they do it because I have to laugh at myself
 today and that's
how I do business thank you and I had a lovely weekend this
 weekend and with
that being said I will keep coming back robert a. Hansen
