On Saturday, December 13, The National Federation of the Blind of Illinois
Chicago Chapter will meet at the Exchequer Pub and Restaurant, 226 South
Wabash Avenue, Chicago.

Please note that the start time for this months meeting is 12:00 noon rather
than the customary 1:00 P.M.

Also, our program for this month will be our annual Christmas auction. This
will occur immediately following the meeting.

We will need items for this event. When contributing an item please be sure
that the item is either new or in good working order. In the past, baked
goods have generally done very well. However, anything that is in working
order is acceptible.

If you bring an item and are unable to braille it, Pam Gillmore has agreed
to label items for us. It would be best if you get there with plenty of
time before the meeting so that Pam is able to accommodate your request for
brailling.

Finally, we will gather somewhere within Exchequer immediately following the
meeting. So, if you have not spenbt all of your money on auction items, you
may avail yourself to wonderful food or fine libations.

Finally, for those who are unable to make the meeting, and I hope there are
not too many of you, I wish to extend wishes for a Merry Christmas and a
happy new year.

David Meyer, NFB of Illinois

Coordinator and Channel Administrator, NFB-NewsLine

Chicago Chapter President
