Hey everybody, I'm looking forward to the Chicago chapter meeting where I will be talking about the three federal legislative issues we want our congress people to support (Hr831, fair Wages, the Teach act and the ACTA Air carrier technology accessibility Act) I hope you can come. I will also be gathering folks to go to each congressional district office (the office in the district) for the greater Chicago land area. And regardless where in IL you are from, I really hope you consider getting involved in federal legislation. Participating in our democracy is not only part of an American citizen's duty, but a special privilege and a great joy when you live in a country where you can. This us provably the most effective thing one person can do to be heard by our leaders, short of running for office.
