[il-talk] Thanks for a great 2014 convention

Hello all,
NFBI has just concluded our best State convention ever. So many people make it possible. I just wanted to thank all of you who made it possible to put on such a wonderful convention.

 Specifically, I just want to thank our immediate past President, Patti Chang. We love you and appreciate all that you have done in your time as our President. We also thank Francisco Chang for bringing up all of the equipment, and running Kid Camp with Jana Stein.
We had a wonderful national representative in Ever Lee Hairston. We thank you for your message of hope, energy and love. We must also thank Debbie Stein, our scholarship chair and parent program coordinator. Byron Lee and the AV team make it possible for us to stream our convention.
I want to thank all of you who work behind the scenes, including Roberta Reif, for running the information  and literature tables, and  Patricia Olson,for handling the  registration table. Thanks goes to the Public Relations committee for your labor intensive efforts to get out the word about our convention, and all other events. Thank you again Nancy Gardner for your help with the door prize table, checking our room setups, and doing all of the leg work. I do not know what I would do without you.
Thanks to everyone, including chapter presidents,  who brought door prizes.
IABS, you guys rock. We appreciate your efforts in putting on IABS Idol. I hope you guys raised a lot of money for IABS with IDOL, the raffle, and your tips. Patti said it best, the students are our future.
And thanks to all who attended. I look forward to seeing you next year. I hope everyone enjoyed our stay at the Chicago Naperville Marriott. From start to finish Dick Martinez and his staff provided us with a wonderful experience.
