I just called my rep, Mike Quigley, regarding the blindness deduction under
HR 1. His staffer assured me that Rep. Quigley is opposing HR 1 overall, and
that he will certainly work to protect the blindness deduction. However,
when I asked that he attach an amendment providing for HR 1377, I was told
they would pass the message along. I also followed up with an email to
staffer Doug Lee and copied John Pare.
