Subject: CTA ADA Advisory Committee Seeks New Members

Good Afternoon, Everyone:

The CTA is currently seeking 5 additional members for its ADA Advisory
Committee which helps to advise the CTA on practices, services and policies
related to meeting the transportation needs of customers with all types of
disabilities.

There are generally 12 members on this Committee who volunteer their time to
attend quarterly meetings at CTA Headquarters. All members are appointed by
Terry Peterson, CTA's Board Chairman. Members begin with a 2-year term and
may be asked to return for an additional 2-year 2nd term, for a total of 4
years of volunteer service as an ADA Advisory Committee member. All meetings
are held during regular daytime business hours, currently from 1:30 to 4:00
p.m.

A flyer and application are attached to this e-mail including an application
in a text only Word format. Completed applications can be e-mailed, U.S.
mailed or completed over the phone with assistance. The flyer and
application are also posted on CTA's Website at
transitchicago.com/accessibility.

The deadline for application submission is 5 p.m. on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 26
2018.

PLEASE NOTE: If you completed an application last year and would like to be
considered for possible membership this year, you do not need to complete
another application unless you want to do so. You simple need to call
312-681-2608 or send an e-mail to aserpe at transitchicago.com
<mailto:aserpe at transitchicago.com> stating that you want to apply again
this year and that CTA should use the completed application you sent in last
year (2017).

Anyone with questions should please call Amy Serpe at 312-681-2608.

The CTA appreciates your interest and support of its ADA Advisory Committee.
Even if you do not wish to become a member, you are always welcome to attend
CTA's ADA Advisory Committee meetings which are open to the general public.
Meeting dates, times and other information are available on CTA's Website at
transitchicago.com.

Please post or forward this information as desired.

Thank you.

Access Benefits Everyone!
