Hello Kelly,
I am sorry but I did not see your e-mail directing the question to me. I
think we have to contact our legislators to let them know about this issue.
Agencies sometimes do things without the matter ever coming to the attention
of the governor. Remember, blind people are a small population, and we are
not on the politicians radars unless  we alert them. Also, politicians in
our society, like everyone else, don't understand the needs of blind people.
And it is up to us to explain our needs and concerns before an idea gains
traction.

I am not Denise, but I seriously doubt it. These things get legs of their
own and if we don't stop it, it may well go through without even being on a
Governor's radar. BTW, polls have been wrong before this.

Polling data shows the governor will lose the upcoming election by a lot. He
won his primary by just one point. do you believe this merger idea will lose
steam if JB Pritzker is elected governor in five weeks?
