I contacted my State Representative and Senator, expressing my opposition to
any proposed merger.

 

Representative Kelly M. Cassidy 773 784-2002

I spoke with Pat who will convey our opposition to any proposed merger to
the state representative. She will check further and call me.

 

Senator Heather A. Steans 773 769-1717 Kathy Smith, Chicago Office Manager,
will convey our opposition to any proposed merger. She will check further
and will return my call.

 

Neither staff person knew about any proposal regarding merger of the Bureau
of Blind Services with any other entity of rehabilitation services.
