Greetings All,

In an ongoing effort to enhance the experience for the disability community on CTA, Angela Davis, Chair of the CTA ADA Advisory Committee has developed three sub-committees; Safety & Training, Way Finding Technology and Funding.

I am the Vice Chair of the Advisory Committee and Chair of the Safety & Training Sub-Committee. Our goal is to improve safety for all disabled persons and enhance the training tools used for their employees, as well as, their riders. We will accomplish this goal by making recommendations to the Advisory Committee and CTA with suggestions compiled by the disability community.

Our first mission is to enhance the CTA's accessibility web page on their website. I am asking if you could visit www.transitchicago.com<http://www.transitchicago.com> and go to the accessibility tab, located at the top of the page, and give us your feedback. After reviewing the webpage, would you be confident, as a blind or low vision person, to ride their system. If not, what information could they provide that would increase your confidence?

You can reply to me, as not to fill up everyone's inbox or call me at the telephone number below.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.
