[Jayhawk-chapter] Regarding the Hospitality Room at our upcoming state convention.

Hi, Cindy:

It is taking place at the Lawrence Holidome which has a new name now which I
can't remember. When we contacted the hotel, we asked the rep with whom we
spoke about bringing food in for hospitality and he said that was
permissible. The dates for the Convention are November 12-14. It would be so
great if you could make it!
Cheers,
Susan

Where is your convention? Will the hotel allow you to bring in snacks? Often
they will not.

hospitality room this year at the convention. I would like all of you to
join me and begin thinking about making our hospitality room truly
hospitable, warm, and friendly where convention attendees just cannot help
dropping by.

other small snacks such as cheese and crackers, vegetable with dip. I am
planning on baking some cookies.

such as soft drinks, sparkling water, and so on. Since the convention will
be in the middle of November I think that it may not be a bad idea to
provide hot drinks such as tea. We more than likely could have several
kinds of tea bags for convention attendees to enjoy. I, for one, like hot
drinks over cold.

ideas you could tip in I greatly appreciate them. I also would like to ask
our chapter members what they could bring willingly. Once I know what our
chapter members could volunteer to provide I will ask if people from other
chapters would like to volunteer.

organizing planning this project by the middle of October the latest.

enjoy working this project together! Thank you.
