Greetings, fellow Chapter members!

I have been busy being "the nut lady." (Just ask my husband!) (Smile!)

All of that aside, I'm sending you the note about nuts that I sent Jim
Canaday and attached is the price list with wholesale and suggested retail
pricing listed. I'm recommending that we go with this company. And we need
to start selling ASAP! Thanks in advance for reviewing this information. At
our chapter meeting in 2 weeks we'll make an official decision. Have a great

I got a price list from Farmstead Treats via email today and I recommend
them. I think I can get transportation to pick up nuts.

 I contacted Farmstead Treats in K.C. and am forwarding to you their order
form because it lists the wholesale and suggested retail costs of their
items. Jean Davis, the woman I talked with, suggests selling the nuts a
dollar above wholesale and said some groups go higher than that in order to
make a little more money. If nuts can be picked up, you avoid shipping cost.
I'm going to suggest that we collect our money with the order so we can pay
for the nuts so it won't be hard on the chapter treasury. She also said that
it's sometimes cheaper if you pick up midway through selling and at the end
so you're not overrun by nuts.

Let me know if you have further questions and I'll try to answer them.
The catalog will come next week and I can get more catalogs and order forms.
Would you like me to have these ready for distribution at the September
meeting so we can start selling?
