Forgive me for being so long in responding to your good news.  I have called
you several times but have gotten a busy signal each time.  I will call you
again tomorrow.  Meanwhile, you and Comet have been in our thoughts often!
Comet's greatest challenge will be to stay off your bed, I'll bet!  Our
fingers are crossed!

Hello Everyone,

I truly thank you for all your support and kind thoughts for my Comet.  She
has been discharged yesterday morning and came home with me yesterday
afternoon.  She is doing well, but put on the strict rest for a couple of
weeks.  This means she cannot run, jump, and sleep on my bed!  Her chest
bone will heal within eight weeks.  Please continue to cross your fingers
for her swift full recovery.
