Good morning all,

This is the official roundup of the top five in our historic first NCAA
brackets fund-raiser. Fifth place goes to Jim Secor with 222 points. Brendy
Latare comes in at number four with 228, and Ron Miller slides into third
with 229, just one point ahead of Brendy. Ron gained 32 points by correctly
picking Duke to win the national NCAA title. Our second place finisher is
Troy Hasty with 234 points. It should come as no surprise that our grand
prize winner is Brent Crow with 259 points.

In the recruiting friendly competition Susan Tabor had 2 referrals. Sidney
Roedel had four, and the grand prize winner for outside referrals is Ron
Miller with 13.

So congratulations to both Ron and Brent and enjoy your massages from
Massage Envy.

In my humble opinion we are all winners because we did our part to help NFB
to become more visible to the broader community, supporting an accessible
sports website by making use of it and by telling our friends and
acquaintances about it, and, last and not least, we raised $145 for the
Jayhawk chapter.

Terrill Thompson, the creator of the accessible NCA brackets website we all
got to use and enjoy, invites and requests us to take a few minutes to
complete his accessible websites survey which is found at

http://terrillthompson.com/sports/survey/

As Terry so correctly notes, the more who participate in the accessible
sports survey, the stronger the case he will be able to make to mainstream
online sports outlets to make their websites accessible to adaptive
techknology including screen readers and screen image magnification
software.

Again, thanks to all, and we'll see you at the April regular chapter meeting
on on April 18 at the Lawrence Public Library.

Best regards,

Rob Tabor | president, Jayhawk Chapter, NFB of Kansas
