Legally speaking reasonable accommodations under the ADA apply to specific employers of a certain size with regard to their employees. However, this does not keep you from using the contract that you create between you as the independent business person and the corporation that you will be working for to stipulate certain conditions such as pay, additional accommodations like digital files rather than print files to be shared with you or the use of accessible technology. In the negotiation process I am going to assume that people can ask for what they need and if the Company can meet those needs they will take you on as their contract to hire professional. Once hired as an employee no longer under a contract with you as a business owner, then ADArules might apply.

Live the life you want. Blindness is not what holds you back.
