I think the most important thing to keep in mind is that although two agencies may both be under the NIB umbrella, they can be extremely different. You should explore the agency like you would any other employer to get a good sense if they are the right fit for you. I currently work at a NIB agency and am extremely happy with my job, benefits, and compensation. This does not mean I would work at another agency just because they were an NIB agency. Talk to agency employees if you can to get a sense of company culture. Check the website. Be clear about the comp and benefits and also your relocation timeline and whether they will cover relocation expenses. In short, do your research well. This could be a great fit and opportunity for you. Don't discount it because it is a NIB agency, but also don't take it for this reason. Each agency is different. Hope this makes sense.

I have an interview next week with a NIB agency for  a contract closeout specialist position.

I have heard great things, and I have heard some not so great things about working for a NIB agency. I am speculating that the truth is somewhere in the middle, but I would like to hear about personal experiences if possible.
This position is currently remote, but I have been told it may move back to onsite. My wife is a teacher with a year-to-year contract, and I have 4 kids and own a house. Relocating isn't out of the question, but it would be quite difficult.

If there is anything you can add without getting in trouble, I'd be interested. If I am offered the position, it might help me decide whether or not to take it. I don't want to make a life change like this without lots of consideration.
