Access Services, Fairfax County Public Library is recruiting for the position of  Outreach Manager.

This position Manages the outreach department of the Access Services branch, coordinating targeted library services for individuals of all ages with temporary or permanent disabilities and information and referral services to government center customers. This position works under the supervision of the Access Services Branch Manager. Duties include:

  *   Coordinates branch outreach services.
  *   Manages and supervises reader advisory services.
  *   Coordinates production of materials in alternate format and responds to Americans with Disabilities Act accommodation requests.
  *   Responds to the needs of library customers and resolves more complex customer issues.
  *   Oversees day-to-day operations of branch or department, acting as person-in-charge (PIC) as assigned.
  *   Performs other duties as may be assigned to further the goals and objectives of Fairfax County Public Library.
