Department of Psychology - Associate or Full Professor  Job # JR103

 

The Department of Psychology, Irving K. Barber Faculty of Arts and Social
Sciences at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus, invites
applications for a tenured Associate or Full Professor position. The
successful candidate will have a Ph.D. and be able to teach graduate and
undergraduate courses in psychology and be able to supervise research by
graduate and undergraduate psychology students. The Department is
encouraging applicants from all fields of research within psychology. The
successful candidate will become a member of the Department of Psychology (

The appointment is expected to start on July 01, 2021, or soon thereafter. 

The candidate will demonstrate evidence of commitment to equity, diversity,

core areas of psychology, and have a demonstrable commitment to teaching
excellence. The candidate will have a competitive record of scholarly
contributions in their respective field of research, and have a strong
externally-funded research program. The successful candidate has the
opportunity to contribute to further development of the curriculum,
supervise undergraduate and graduate students, and fulfill service
obligations to the University and community. 

The Department of Psychology at UBC's Okanagan campus is a dynamic and

Department is housed in the Irving K. Barber Faculty of Arts and Social
