The Arizona Talking Book Library (Phoenix, Arizona) is looking for a Reader Advisor Librarian for this past-paced library, serving the majority of patrons by telephone and email.

This Reader Advisor Librarian responds to reader requests for books, magazines, videos, conducting reference interviews in order to select materials to meet the specific needs of patrons. They are responsible for approximately 25% of the library's patrons.

This librarian will develop specialized knowledge in tasks that may include collection development, outreach to schools and institutions, services to children and young adults, planning and promoting services for reading disabled, planning and facilitating library programming and book discussion groups, and other focus areas to support the work of the Arizona Talking Book Library.
