The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our Human Resources Team. As the leader of the Recruitment team you will lead a team developing recruitment marketing and communications initiatives, branding DHS as the employer of choice. The person in this position assists managers and supervisors across DHS in translating their vacancy filling and recruitment business needs into human resources decisions and activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership experience. Leadership experience can include:

  *   Experience as a supervisor, lead-worker, team lead, project lead;
  *   Completion of a State of Minnesota leadership program (e.g. ELI, L4);
  *   A paid/unpaid position leading a program or chairing a committee (e.g. ERG) - Experience must include:
     *   1+ year of experience identifying issues, goals and strategic actions
     *   100+ hours per year time commitment

AND

4 years of advanced professional human resources experience with a focus in recruitment at a large organization

Experience must demonstrate:
*         Proven subject matter expert for recruitment-related marketing strategies

  *   Strong sourcing experience utilizing a variety of tools/techniques
*         High volume, full-cycle, recruitment experience
*         Experience recruiting using a variety of social medial platforms

  *   Providing guidance to agency managers and supervisors on HR topics
  *   Strategic workforce planning;
  *   Knowledge of vacancy filling, developing minimum qualifications, and determining appropriate compensation.
