Position Title: Teacher of the Blind/Visually Impaired; Orientation and Mobility
Immediate Supervisor's Position Title: Regional Low Incidence Facilitator
FLSA Status: Exempt
Pay Band: NA

Job Summary:  This position provides the instructional and/or technical assistance necessary to service the educational needs of the students in Region 3 who are considered "visually impaired" and their team members in an itinerant model.  This position teaches individuals to be independent in their environment - at home, at school, or in the community.

Required Qualifications
*       Teaching License for Visually Impaired or the ability to secure licensure through PELSB
Additional Preferred Qualifications
*       Bachelor's Degree in Teaching
*       Orientation and Mobility Certification
**Travel using personal vehicle**
