KMUW Archives Intern
KMUW, Wichita's National Public Radio station, is looking for talented interns for our new archival project. Interns will work 15 to 20 hours a week during the next seven months, roughly April 5 through Sept. 5. The pay is $12 an hour and will be mostly remote work. The intern will learn how to find and input metadata for archival recordings. The intern also will spend time learning about different audio and video formats for archiving.
The best candidates will have:
* Strong attention to detail.
* Sustained focus.
* Practical experience editing audio/video.
* Archiving experience is not required.
* A strong interest in community identity, culture and news.
* An eagerness to learn and the ability to take direction.
This internship is not limited to college students. Anyone over the age of 18 may apply. Applications should be a resume with professional references and a reason you'd be a great fit.
Deadline for application submission is April 1.
