Job Responsibilities include:

This position contributes to the advancement of DEED's mission, vision, and objectives by managing Labor Relations (LR) functions, staff, and LR-related strategic initiatives. This position is a management level subject matter expert consulting on complaints, investigations, arbitrations, settlements, and other charges of high level, high profile situations having significant risk to the agency. Responsibilities include consulting, advising and recommending solutions on performance management; labor relations and legal and policy compliance; analyses of complaints/grievances, and conducting investigations on employee and labor relations matters. Incumbent will work to ensure application of personnel rules, contract language, compensation plans, state and federal laws, MN statutes, and all required rules, regulations, standards, and procedures.

This position is currently telework eligible up to 100% time.
