This position serves as a senior executive within Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) which requires executive leadership, strategic vision, timely execution and performance as a leadership partner to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA).
This executive position provides leadership within the department to support innovation and manage change by applying technology solutions to solve business and public policy challenges at MPCA. The position also provides leadership, vision and information to the agencies' senior leadership to support IT investment, risk and cost management decisions, to ensure MPCA's technology future remains healthy and supportable. This forward-looking leadership position actively looks to build relationships and collaborates with senior MPCA and MNIT leaders to create sustainable IT and business strategies to meet agency and state business needs and budget challenges. The Chief Business Technology Officer (CBTO) serves as a part of leadership teams at MPCA while also serving as a member of the Senior Management Team of Minnesota IT Services.
This executive position oversees all IT applications, functions, and services delivered to MPCA with a team of about 55 MNIT staff and is responsible for creating an inclusive work environment in partnership with state agency business partners.
