This position is responsible for leading and directing the operations unit of the Department of Administration's Human Resources Office which provides HR services to the Department of Administration, Minnesota Management and Budget and a number of small agencies, boards, and councils (SmART).  This position will provide direction and oversight of Leave Management including FMLA, unpaid leaves of absence, and Benefits; Payroll and Labor Distribution; Transactions; Systems Security; and HR Reporting ensuring that processes and procedures meet our business needs while providing efficient and effective services to customer agencies.  Additionally, this position will prepare, monitor, and maintain the HR budget ensuring the division maintains spending within budget limitations and assisting the HR Director with budget issues and concerns as needed.  The incumbent will serve as an integral member of the HR Leadership Team contributing to the development and strategic direction for the Human Resources Office.
