These positions will contribute to a positive employee and applicant experience at the Department of Revenue.  The Staffing Specialist 1 or 2 will provide professional human resource management services to support to the Department of Revenue's management and staff in the following areas:

  *   Conduct job classification audits and provide oversight and guidance in accordance with established policies and procedures to ensure positions are appropriately classified.
  *   Coordinate recruitment and selection activities for assigned divisions so that positions are filled with qualified individuals within the scope of applicable policies, laws, rules, and contract/plan language.
  *   Assist Staffing Supervisor and lead worker in the development of training initiatives regarding job classification audit processes, staffing and recruitment, and other HR related topics.
  *   Create, maintain, and document HR procedures and processes on a regular basis.
